Today was a day to push into new distance! The weather was nice and the sun was out. I went ahead and pushed to 5 miles today! Believe me, that last mile was tougher than I thought it would be.

This was the second run in my new shoes and I had to really alter my route in order to add on the new distance and still stay fairly close to my existing route. I’ve gotten to where I really use the Energy jelly beans alot on longer runs. I just stick one between my cheeck and gum and slowly chew as I run. It keeps me from feeling the dry mouth.
